Addi had a cowgirl birthday party with all of her friends last weekend. It was fun. My husband thinks I went overboard and spent to much time for a first birthday, but I had fun. I stayed up until 2 am the night before sewing her cowgirl outfit. I followed a pattern for the shirt but everything else I made up myself. The first shirt I made was way to big to I had to alter the pattern a little.

These are the invitations I made. Aren't they cute. This is what Jared thinks I spent to much time on. They say "She is cute she is sweet she is so much fun our little cowgirl is turning one!"

Here is the table. I made a chocolate cake, star shaped sugar cookies (they were suppose to be sheriff badges but I didn't have enough time to finish them), pigs in a blanket, chips and salsa, fruit, and cheese & crackers. I tried to have cowboyish foods that one year olds can eat.

The recipe for the cake is on my
mommy creations blog and the recipe for the cookies and royal icing will be up soon.

I found the cowboy boots at a local thrift shop and thought it made a cute little center piece with flowers in them.

Addi loved that Dede came to her party and wanted to be with her the whole time. Addi wanted to grab the flame on the candle.

Notice her nice shiner she got just before her birthday.

Here is the birthday girl with her daddy.

Addi got a ball pit, rocking horse and a little people farm so these were the entertainment for the party. The ball pit was a hit.

Here is all her friends that came to here party.

Here is our little cowgirl. I also took some one year pictures of her in her birthday dress check them out
