Bringing in the New Year in Style
New Years eve we went downtown to the park to checkout all the festivities and to go ice skating. Normally never in my right mind would I go to Bushnell Park after dark, but thought that just this once it would be ok since there would be tons of people and security.
There we different random performers (ie fire dancers) and people making there own little parades in the street.
There was a firework show, but Addi was a little scared of them. I guess we were a little to close.

We had gone downtown to go ice skating, but it was full and they weren't doing another session until 8 because they had a little performance. Although Addi was very disappointed she didn't get to go ice skating (were talking crying and screaming disappointed) she did love to watch the skaters she was in aww.
Daddy stood in a very long line to get us some hot chocolate because we were freezing. Aidan lost one of his socks that was covering his hand so daddy used the cup to warm it up.
Then it was time to head home for our 2nd Annual Sorensen Family New Years Eve Dance Party!
It was just as much fun as the first and included many costume changes.
We got to eat all of our favorite party foods.
We attempted to take a family photo using our remote.

Maybe not very professional looking but a lot of fun.
Addi thought it was cool and we have many many random photos because of it.
Since Addi was so disappointed that she didn't get to go ice skating daddy took her back the next day to try it out.
They didn't have ice skate that were small enough and she wasn't very stable but she sure looked cute trying.
